Assessment Innovation for Learning

Assessment Innovation for Learning carries out research on learning analysis to support assessment, and on its implementation in education. Building on our on-going/previous research on assessment in technology and information rich environments (that generate a rich diversity of numerical, textual and semantic data) using data-driven exploratory methodologies, we will develop and implement innovative assessments, which support stakeholders at the micro, meso, and macro levels of the educational system to learn and make evidence-based decisions.  Furthermore, studies of learning with technology in various contexts and with a diversity of learners will further our understanding of how technology changes the conditions for learning.
